Edward R. Stough attended Maryland Institute College of Art with a bachelor of arts degree in interior design.

The interior design firm, Edward R. Stough, Inc. was formed in 1976 in Baltimore, MD. The firm is involved mainly in the residential design, but is currently completing several major commercial installations.

The principal locations of the firm’s installations are Baltimore, Maryland and Washington, D.C.; with additional projects in New York City, Southampton, New York; Miami, Boca Raton, Palm Beach, Florida; Asheville, North Carolina; Charleston, and St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands.

Both residential and commercial interiors have been published nationally in trade, consumer magazines and newspapers.

Edward R. Stough has served as Treasurer, Vice President, President, and National Board Member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). Received the Merit Award presented by the Maryland Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers.

Edward R. Stough has appeared in nationally televised shows including “Kitchens” and “Bed & Bath Design” for HGTV.
